About Train Decade

Train Decade exists for one reason: most fitness advice is written for 25-year-olds, and it quietly fails men in their 40s and 50s.

We publish evidence-based training and nutrition — no crash cuts, no quick-fix noise. Just the methods that actually work, explained clearly and tested against the science.

What we believe

  • The long game wins. A decade of consistent, sustainable training beats any six-week transformation.
  • Track what you can measure. You can’t improve what you don’t record.
  • Show your work. Every claim here is grounded in research, not influencer hype.

Who writes this

Train Decade is written by Vincent, a lifter in his late 40s tracking his own decade of training. Every method published here is tested against his own body — through real cut and gain phases, real plateaus, and real joints — and then checked against the peer-reviewed research before it goes out.

That experience is the point. Most fitness writing is done by people who have never had to fit a training program around a full-time job, a family, and twenty years of accumulated niggles. This is written from inside that exact situation.

Who this is for

Men in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who want body recomposition, strength, and health — without destroying their joints, their sleep, or their life to get it.

The name

“Train Decade” — because real change is measured in years, not weeks.
